Trail Fuel

Real food, real terrain.

About the Creator

Real Food,
Real Terrain

I'm Mariia — an outdoor content creator based in Vancouver, BC. I spend most of my time on trails, along rivers, and in the rainforests of the Pacific Northwest, documenting what it actually feels like to move through wild places.

My content doesn't start with a mood board. It starts with a hike — pack on, snacks in the side pocket, camera rolling, wherever the trail leads. The result reads as real because it is: real terrain, real effort, real light.

Élan's organic superfood mixes belong out here, not on a studio table. This shoot carries them where they make sense — deep forest, foxglove fields, and a mossy riverbank — where good fuel meets the kind of day worth packing it for.

Campaign Overview

The Rainforest Mix, in the Rainforest

A day in the coastal rainforest with Élan's Rainforest mix — an organic superfood blend carried along the trail and to the river's edge, shot in the exact landscape it's named for. The campaign captures the brand's core promise: certified organic, gluten-free, GMO-free — real food, in the places that make you reach for it.

No studio. No flat lays. Every frame was shot on location — mossy riverbanks, fern-lined forest floor, foxgloves in full bloom. The product sits in its natural context, and the content reflects it: honest, earthy, and unmistakably outdoors.

Why This Works for Élan

Made for the
Outdoors It Names

Élan builds organic, plant-forward snacks for people who actually go outside. The Rainforest mix isn't pantry filler — it's trail fuel, and the content puts it exactly there, in the rainforest it's named after.

Shooting on location does the brand's talking for it. The Pacific Northwest backdrop — old-growth canopy, glacial water, wildflowers — signals clean, natural, and earned without a single claim on screen.

The result is a library that feels like the brand at its most honest: good food, carried somewhere worth the walk.
